Please Note
If you are on a Lower Yough Guided Tour, you will check in 1 mile south of Ohiopyle on 381. There is a sign that says GUIDED RAFTING CHECK IN and PARK OFFICE. Turn there onto Dinnerbell Road. All other activities check in at Laurel Highlands Outdoor Center on Sherman Street in Ohiopyle. Please see Youghiogheny River Trips map of Ohiopyle below.
From Pennsylvania

Take I - 79 South to PA Turnpike. Go east on turnpike to Exit # 91 at Donegal. Make a left at exit onto Route 31. Get east for 2 miles andmake a right onto Routes 381/711 South. Proceed 10 miles to Normalville. Turn left onto Route 381 South. Go 11 miles to Ohiopyle.

PA Turnpike to Exit # 91 at Donegal. Make a left at exit onto Route 31. Get east for 2 miles and make a right onto Routes 381/ 711 South. Proceed 10 miles to Normalville. Turn left onto Route 381 South. Go 11 miles to Ohiopyle.

Take Route 281 South to Confluence. Make a left onto Oden Street. Follow sign for 281 South and make a right onto bridge. Continue on 281 about 2 miles. At the church with the blue roof on the left, make a right onto Sugarloaf Road. Go 8 miles to Ohiopyle.
State College - Approx. 152 miles - 3 hrs.
Take 220 South to PA Turnpike. Go west on turnpike to Exit #91 at Donegal. Make a left at exit onto Route 31. Get east for 2 miles and make a right onto Routes 381711 South. Proceed Normalville. Turn left onto Route 381 South. Go 11 miles to Ohiopyle.
From West Virginia
Albright - Approx. 40 miles - 40 minutes
Take Route 26 North (at PA/WV line Route 26 becomes Route 281). Follow Route 281 and turn left onto Route 40 West. Take 40 to Farmington and turn right onto Route 381 North. Follow 6 miles to Ohiopyle.

Take I - 79 North to I - 68 East to Bruceton Mills Exit. Make a right onto Route 26 North (at PA/WV line Route 26 becomes Route 281). Follow Route 281 and turn left onto Route 40 West. Take 40 to Farmington and turn right onto Route 381 North. Follow 6 miles to Ohiopyle.

Take 119 North to Uniontown. Get on Route 40 East and take to Farmington. Make a left onto 381 North. Follow for 6 miles to Ohiopyle.
