In preparation to celebrate our country’s independence, we thought we would share with you some the local Fourth of July events and activities.
Fayette County will be celebrating Independence Day on Sunday, July 6, on the grounds of the Uniontown Mall. Fireworks will take place at dusk! In addition, there will be lots of fun children’s activities and MORE!
Nemacolin Woodlands has tons of fun activities planned for the holiday starting on Thursday, July 3, through Sunday, July 6. There will be some great family along with lots of great music and great food. Check out all the fun activities they have planned here! They will also have a fireworks display Friday, July 4 at 9:30pm. The best places to see the fireworks are the Sundial Lodge and the Links Pro Shop Parking Lot. You can also celebrate with Yogi Bear and friends at Jellystone Park in Mill Run, PA. The fun starts on Thursday, July 3 and continues through the weekend. There will be a pool party at Yogi Bear’s Wetlands. Other activities include a bike decorating contest, kid’s scavenger hunt and a magician-puppet show. There aren’t fireworks right in Ohiopyle but the Ohiopyle Falls will be “Under Lights” on Thursday, July 4 at dusk. If you haven’t seen the Falls “Under Lights,” it should definitely be on your To-Do List for the holiday.
